PEMF Power Levels

Note: There are several PEMF companies that now have the same power, same wattage, to compete with each other but are totally different in the way the voltage is delivered.

Both companies deliver the same charge but at different fluences and waves per pulse. One machine's is now just as powerful as the Pulse XL Pro but it is only 12,000. The specs read nearly the same. I had to try it to see why it was 18 thousand dollars less with nearly the same specs.

I have chosen not to say the name of this machine because I do sell it as one of my my lower end machines for those that still want the benefit of these machines but don't need the best of the best. Not everyone is using this for clinical use and is looking for as expensive as they make them.

For doing superficial treatment, having the highest powered machine is not as necessary. Penetration levels have to do not with how much joules of energy is being delivered but how much at one time. On weaker machines even if they have the same power as the really expensive ones, the expensive solid state component driven machines can deliver the energy over fewer nano seconds.

On my PEMF Quiz, make sure you let me know how deep you want the penetrtion. A solid state type should deliver up to 20 centimeters. Most of them go about 10 to 15. The tiny portable models even though they can feel very strong usually go about 5 to 10cm.

There is nothing wrong with a really powerful PEMF machine that still gives the same benefit but just takes longer and doesn't feel as good.

Note: a very powerful Pemf machine must be balanced correctly. If the voltage is not distributed just right, it can disrupt the mitochondria cell walls and defeate the entire purpose of the session. Just like using a Class 4 laser, if its too powerful it can damage the tissue. I urge people getting a really powerful Pemf machine to know the training that goes along with the higher power levels of the machine, especially when treating lighterweight people

Note: There is nothing wrong with the Pemf mats that are very low voltage and have very little power. Some are very low power that you really can't feel it when it's on. These are more restorative sessions.

Very powerful Pemf machines: Some of them have large coils and the energy is concentrated all in one area. The full body types may deliver the same amount of energy and when the coils are smaller it's not felt like the bigger coil types.
